HHC

HHC is very similar to THC… But better for pain! The effect of HHC on medical conditions like pain and inflammation is stronger than THC. The same happens with its anti-tumor properties, more effective than the ones from THC. While other effects are yet unknown, these results are amazing and very promising for their application in medicine.
What is HHC (Hexahydrocannabinol)?

HHC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that is found in the seeds and pollen of the hemp plant. However, natural HHC is only present in trace amounts, so to get large amounts of this naturally occurring cannabinoid you would have to use truck loads of hemp. This is why scientists have found ways to created a semi-synthetic form of HHC. There is a biologically active naturally occuring (−)-hexahydrocannabinol, as well as its synthetic enantiomer (+)-hexahydrocannabinol, creating a semi-synthetic product. What are the Effects of Hexahydrocannabinol?HHC has very similar effects as THC. It produces feelings of euphoria and stimulation, altered visual perception, changes in heart rate and body temperature, and altered headspace and cognition, as well as reducing inflammation and managing chronic and extreme pain. Many users report the effects of HHC are similar to that of delta 8 in terms of being a more clear minded high. HHC is more potent than delta 8 but just as potent than delta 9 THC. HHC is still very new, so there aren’t many studies available to evaluate its potential therapeutic effects — but so far, it seems this cannabinoid offers most of the same therapeutic effect profile as other forms of THC. There’s even been some animal testing that showed beta-HHC possesses notable painkilling effects when tested on rats.

The potential benefits of HHC include:

May help manage chronic pain
May reduce inflammation
May promote deeper, more restorative sleep
May alleviate nausea or vomiting
May alleviate anxiety

One huge benefit of this cannabinoid comes from its impressive shelf-life, more so than its physical effects. It offers very similar benefits to THC but comes in a much more stable form. What makes hexahydrocannabinol different than other Cannabinoids?HHC can be a game-changer because of the role it plays in your body’s bioavailability. You see, cannabinoids in their natural state are already bioavailable; they attach themselves to your body’s cannabinoid receptors prompting a chemical reaction. That chemical reaction triggers regulatory actions that balance bodily functions. But, despite this natural process, we are still not fully capable of absorbing cannabinoids in full. Thus we’re not reaping their full effectiveness, no matter the dose or strain. HHC from hemp fixes this issue, making cannabinoids bioavailable and the body capable of fully absorbing maximum effectiveness. The portion of HHC that can be metabolized prove to have ultimately stronger effects thanks to an enhanced stability. This means that not only does the cannabinoid absorb more efficiently (fully binding to cannabinoid receptors), but it has better shelf stability as well, as cannabinoids in their natural form degrade within about six months and therefore lose the potency of their properties.

Is hexahydrocannabinol Legal?

Yes, it is! Not only is HHC a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in hemp, it’s also not a THC type like Delta-8. This means that HHC is federally legal, as it is protected under the 2018 Farm Bill.
